Day 1 Yangon arrival by Int’l Flight ( morning )

yangon-35On arrival , welcome by our tour guide at the Yangon Int’l airport and transfer to your hotel. Check – in at the hotel.Start to visit in the city tour including Chaukhtakyi Pagoda (Huge Reclining Buddha), Karaweik Royal Barge on the Kandawgyi Lake, Nanthida Jetty and then walking tour in the Colonial downtown of Yangon and Sunset at World Famous Shwedagon Pagoda.Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 2 Yangon – Kyeikhtiyo ( GoldenRock )

kyaikhtiyo-06Breakfast at hotel and morning leave for Kyeikhtiyo by private car , enjoy a scenic journey by road to Kyeikhtiyo ; a huge boulder covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. Late morning , arrive at Kyeikhtiyo base camp and teansfer to Yethetaung with one of the open truck and start an easy walk up to the golden Rock and enjoy sunset from this unforgettable site.Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 3 Kyeikhtiyo ( GoldenRock ) – Bago ‐ Yangon

bago-08Breakfast at Hotel ,Take a half hour walk to a small cave near by. Also stop at bago3bagothe roadside shops for rare product of jungle. Mid‐morning, drive down to the base camp and return to Yangon vai Bago ; ancient Mon Capital . Arrive Bago and visit Bago Market, Shwemawdaw Pagoda (One of the most venerated pagoda in Myanmar), Shwetharlyaung (55 meters long ; Huge Reclining Buddha) . Drive back to Yangon , on the way visit Kyeik Pon Pagoda (four faces pagoda ; 28 meters High Huge Buddha Images). And Htauk Kyant War Cementary ,Ovenight at Hotel.

Day 4 Yangon – Mandalay – Amarapura – Mandalay ( By Flight )

mandalay-11After Breakfast at hotel, Transfer to airport fly to Mandalay. Arrive Mandalay Int’l Airport. Drive to Amarapura to visit Mahagandayon monastery where more than a thousand disciplined monks & novices as they line up to receive their daily offering of alms mandalay2mandalay& food from faithful Buddhists and to see their last meal for the day in total silence. (If you are lucky, you can see food offering ceremony there). And to enjoy the atmosphere of U Bein's bridge; a picturesque teak wood bridge and then continue visit traditional hand loom factory. Drive to Mandalay. And continue visit Mahamuni Buddha Image (a bronze Buddha image), wood and stone carvings, gold leaf beating workshop, ShweKyaung (golden palace monastery), Kuthodaw Pagoda which is mandalay1famous as the World's Biggest Book. Finally go up Mandalay Hill for beautiful sunset the misty city. Overnight at Hotel .

Day 5 Mandalay – Ava – Mingun – Mandalay

mandalay-12After Breakfast at hotel, enjoy a ferry across to Ava , one of the ancient capital, situated on the bank of Irrawaddy River. Inwa is now quiet rural oasia. Enjoy a leisurely horsecart ride sagaing2around the peaceful countryside , visit Bagaya Monastry with teak piles, Mahaaungmyaybonzan Monastery (brick building ), and Nanmyint tower (the old watch tower). On the way, stop and observe how local artisans make the famous alms bowls out of iron.Drive back to Mandalay. And proceed to Mingun by boat. Transfer to jetty and take the private boat to Mingun (about 1 ½ hrs, upstream), Explore the ruins of vast Pahtodawgyi Pagoda (Unfinished Pagoda), a monument to sagaing3human ambition, Mingun Bell which weights 110 tons , the World’s largest hanging un‐cracked bell , Myatheindanzedi, Home for ages. The relaxing trip, it provides a great opportunity to see life on the river. Return downstream by boat to Mandalay. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 6 Mandalay – Sagaing – Monywa

mandalay-13After Breakfast at hotel, Proceed to Sagaing,a former royal capital and the spiritual center of Myanmar . Hundreds of stupas , monasteries temples and nunneries are to be found in Sagaing Hill. Thousands of monks and nuns retreat here for meditation and contemplation. Visit Kaungmudaw sagaing4sagaingPagoda ( with its huge egg – shaped dome in eylonese style ) and Soon U Ponnya Shin pagoda on the Sagaing Hill and ercursion silver –smith industery and drive back to Mandalay. And proceed to Monywa, on the way visit Thanbohddhay Pagoda; 845 small stupas are rising up to the richly decorated central stupa . Arrive Monywa & Check in & overnight at hotel.

Day 7 Monywa – Pakkoku – Bagan ( By Boat )

monywa-02After Breakfast at hotel, visit Phowintaung; across the Chindwin river by local ferry and and proceed by pick – up or open jeep to Phowintaung; a seldom visited complex of cave temples and shrines, some dating back to 15th century and containing about 450,000 images and some very fine mural paintings. Nearby, visit Shwebataung which features unique pavillions cut from the surrounding sandstone and filled with Buddha images. And then by car from Monywa to Pakkoku. By boat from Pakokku on the Ayeyarwaddy river to Bagan. Transfer from Jetty. Overnight at Hotel. (Bagan )

Day 8 Bagan

bagan-14After Breakfast at hotel, Transfer to airport fly to Bagan; represents the spiritual heritage and heartland of old Burma. Arrive Bagan and visit the major temples and monuments of the town, the local Nyaung‐U Market, monasteries and caves. And then visit lacquer‐ware making to learn about the fascinating technique of this art. Enjoy the beautiful sunset over Bagan from a temple. Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 9 Bagan – Popa – Kalaw

kalaw-04After Breakfast at hotel, drive to Mt. Popa, an extinct volcano which is the legendary home of the Nats (or Spirits). Stop en route at a local toddy palm farmers, hut and observe the techniques used in collecting and making the delicious toddy palm suger and toddy palm drink. Then at the foot of Mt. Popa we stop at a local market which has exotic fruits and then visit to Mt. Popa will be enchanced by detail explanations of the spirit beliefs (Nats) and how it blends in with traditional Buddhism. And then drive to Kalaw & Overnight at Hotel.

Day 10 Kalaw – Pindaya

pindaya-05Breakfast at hotel, visit to lively local market where many ethnic monority people of the surround areas buy and trade their goods. Stroll in the steep and winding lanes of Kalaw, enjoying the crip air, the picturesque old houses and the views of the surrouning hills and see some of the colonial buildings. And proceed to Pindaya & arrive & check in at hotel, the small picturesque town of Shan State, and visit Pindaya Cave; these caves are enconced in a limestone ridge overlooking the lake, inside the cave, there are more than 8000 Buddha images – made from alabaster, marble, brick, laquer and cement. And excursion the traditional paper workshop and umbrella workshop. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 11 Pindaya – Inle

inle-17After Breakfast at hotel. And then drive to Nyaung Shwe (about 3 hrs) the gate way to Inle Lake; where catch the boat to go and visit Lake Inle. Can joy Intha People's daily life, floating gardens and floating villages. And then visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Ngaphaechaun Monastery, Local handicraft centers (silk weaving, black smith). Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 12 Inle( Indein )

indein-18After Breakfast at hotel, transfer for excursion a nearby Indein village and visit its traditional 5 days market of Lake Inle area. The 5 – day – market rotate around the villages and towns of Shan State, where several tribal people in their colourful costume come from the nearby villages to sell their indigenous agricultural products. After that you will guided to a near by village called Indein – a scenic trip up a narrow creek, the idyllic site of Indein with its 17th century ruins of pagodas in an “Indiana Jones“ type setting , strolloing along the trail among the bamboo grove and then a light Trekking to a near by tribal village. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 13 Inle ‐ Heho – Yangon ( By Flight )

Arrive Yangon .on the way visit Kabaaye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda), Mahapasana Cave ( where sixth Buddhist synod took place ). And then check In Hotel. Enjoy shopping at Scott Market ( Bogyoke Aung San Market ). And walking around China Town at Evening and Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 14 Yangon Departure

Breakfast at hotel ,Transfer to airport for return flight.
